Sean Garrett vs The Dream
For those who are unaware, Instagram live has been hosting a series of battle between artists, producers, and writers. They go live almost every night, and have included some very good matchups, between impactful artists. These Instagram battles have been going on for a few weeks now, and I'm compiling all of the songs they’ve been playing into playlists, so we can enjoy all the hits that have been played so far. This playlist is from the battle between Sean Garrett, a frequent collaborator of Beyonce, Chris Brown, and Usher, and the Dream, who also collaborates with the like of Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Rihanna. In my opinion, The Dream won, and Sean Garrett had a lot of bangers, but relied too heavily on Beyonce hits, and did not use his songs effectively to counter The Dream’s catalog.
